Hello Mr. Todd and your administraters thank you for asking me to be a representative here in Texas. It is nice of you to ask , I will think about it only because I feel as if my posts have been deleted so much. I reely had done nothing wrong except post some pictures of a reelly beautiful 70m Putzmeister, that everyone wants to see and has questions about. For peete sakes its a freakin message board. I understand its yours but you have people talking about you down here. you tyold me it was because you dont want them to get free advertisment and you dont make money from those guys. that shows me what you are really in this for and thats the dollar. I am not trying to fight with you its just the way many people I have talked to here in San Antonio and myself. you are sending out a bad message i have a few concords , schwings and putzmeisters. I have been following for a while now and notice you kep up pictures of some and delete others I find this odd almost like you are favoring people. its a message board , i said it again . its not like i was bad talking people or cursing etc. many folks i have talked with agree with me but are to afraid of speaking up because they do not want to get baned by you.

just a little advice loosin it up ther Guy, Seriously I like this site but if it keeps going in this direction IO will pull the plug and I know for a fact many others will to. now i know what you are saying to yourself who cares about what this one guy thinks. and thats fine I know how people work but please just give it some thought.

thank you and  please be truthful I can tell you are loyal to your customers that pay but i see everyone has to be cautios evertime they post if i was an employee of Putzmeister i would be mad , you had them once you probably wont get them back by your actions please think about it i am not attacking you i am just telling you our view from this side.

I understand how you feel. I have always been truthful about this site. This is how I feed my family. I support my sponsors. I let those putz pictures up for a few days before you posted them again. They had been on the site before you posted them. Putz does not sponsor the site so I dont give them equal time nor do I promote their functions, job stories or articles. I am not trying to be sneaky and yes my sponsors get privilege. Do I care what you think, yes for sure I do and I have many admin and reps that own and run Putz but that does not mean they get free advertisements.

2 of my 5 admin run Putz and one is even a dealer for them. Many of my reps run putz. Putz gets way too much air time now. I will delete most all of putz pictures that go on the message board. I dont think that is unfair, If my sponsors gives me good money every year why should i not do everything i can to help them sell pumps?

I am not trying to be a pain, i just want to make sure you understand, lets talk on the phone ok.

I think Putz will become a sponsor someday but i am not going to promote there pumps for free. Do you pump for free? If someone ask you to do a job, you tell them what it cost right, well if someone asks me what pump they should buy I point them to my sponsors.

Just saying this is a message board does not mean that Putz or the other company Sermac can post on here when ever they want.

Now if you want to post Putz or Sermac pictures in the photo area you can do that, or post them on your profile that is cool or post putz or sermac video on the video site that is ok also, but not on the message board.  I dont want to talk about how great a none sponsor pump is on the message board.

I hope you understand, I do not hold it against my admins, nor my Reps if they own Putz pumps. I love my admins and my Reps, they are part of the family.

Putz has every right not to support this site and that is ok with me. I wish it would be different but that’s ok.

One more thing, I wanted to thank you for posting and asking me about this issue.

Most people who disagree with me are much less kind. I have never banned anyone who disagrees with me, i only ban those who break the rules and will not stop it, but there is nobody I would not reinstate if they would just talk to me about it. In 15 years or so I have only banned 5 or 6 people so nobody should have a fear of being banned. I would unban anyone who would just play by the rules and even then I dont ban everyone who brakes the rules.

Be nice, no cursing, keep it family safe. Dont trash my sponsors, if you have nothing good to say about somebody dont say it, no slander, dont post other companies biz on the message board,  Dont post ads for none sponsors. Be nice, grumpy is ok, message board is not a place for sales man to push there equipment, nor for companies to place ads, Do I allow exceptions? Yes, most people ask me if they can break a rule and I almost always say yes.

The message board was designed to help people connect and to share ideas, thoughts and to keep each other updated.

mudman, how lucky are you to express what you feel without being DELETED

Just want to add my 21/2 cents. Most understand the situation. Some dont. Todd is right, Its his site. It takes money to live. It takes ALOT of time to maintain a web site. It takes ALOT of time to get sponsers. It takes ALOT of time to think of innovative way's to generate more revenue as the cost of living keeps going up. Add all that time together and it becomes full time job. We all work full time, Would any of you work for free? How would you face your wife or even yourself if you did it for free? Do you change out boom pipe for free? How would you pay the bills? This is the job Todd has chose to do and he must be a wise man to make a living off of it. Decissions are critical in any business. Making decissions also you will find dont please everyone. Everything you do has rules. You must follow the rules. Cutting corners will only hurt you. Todd is in this for the long run. He must keep this site alive and well all the time. I personally have been on this site for many years. I dont always talk. I have registered under many names. Now I have a new one. I am now a former operator and as of 2 years ago when the economy started its thing, My wife and I bought a coffee shop. I make critical decissions all the time. EVERY decission is critical. I will probably be back on a pump later. But this is what I do now. I must make it work. And it is. This is where we get our money for food and bills. I dont give away free coffee! By the way I'm Kenny, I pumped mud in the Sacramento area, 42m on down for 10 years. I'll be doin it again i'm sure. And we have all done free work, Not usually by choice, Some companies just dont see it like we would like. And when you are made to do free work, You sure dont like it , It makes you think of stupid things. On the other side of the coin I will tell you this: Networking is where its at. If your going to make money you have to network, That means working together in everything. If you want to fight and argue about differances, well not many will give you the time  of day. Todd on the other hand will give you the time anyway. Thats a good man ! You hang on to friends like that. and it also means he cares and is not in it just for the money. So believe what you will. Todd Termini and I had the same issue but after hearing his side,its his house,his rules,if you don't like it don't walk in the door.I'm a putz man but if someone else was sponsoring me putting food on the table,I wouldn't be promoting there competitors, simple business,you dont bite the hand that feeds you

  I like how you talk about not working for free or advertising for free all while talking about your coffee shop and leaving a link to you web page.  i could be wrong but if you dont sponser the site then you just advertised for free on todd's page. Not trying to stir things up just thought it was funny

Hi Rook , Im really not trying to advertise. I do have my screen name identified as who I am. But its not important for me to advertise on Concrete Pumping  dot com . If I thought everyone would stop here for coffee on the way to the job site then I would be buying an ad from Todd. I might decide to buy a place for my logo in the future, ONLY because I love Concrete pumping dot com. I've been on here off and on for several years. Todd is a Good Godly Man. I have alot of respect for him. I also have his Logo linked from my website. I dont know if he will benefit from it or not, But I am going to direct contractors in this area to his site. Like I said before, its all about networking together. I have done alot of free ads in my place for local businesses on power point. You have to understand networking before you can understand why I do that. So no, Im not trying to advertise here. I'm here because I want to stay in touch with pumpin mud. I also learn from others about marketing. Glad to see your still around rook. Hope everything is going good for you. I sometimes miss running a boom pump. I think the thing I miss out of all of it was figuring out the best way to solve a problem, whether it be a plug or an electrical malfunction. I can only remember 1 time that I didnt get to finish the job. Other than that, I wheeled my way till the job was done. I dont miss the consecative 16-18 hour days. Although I can do it!
