Not a better crew in the Carolinas that can drag that 5'' hose than Joseph and the boys from Carolina Floors. They only know one speed............WideOpen ! |

Wow, those guys really hammer it down! can't even imagine having to drag 5" line around, we normally use 3" hose for cue decking up here, and after watching your video, I will never again complain about it. Much respect to the dudes that muscle that stuff around all day. |

I can't see the bennefit of using 5" system whit 4" you don't have to drag the hose you can let the pump do the working like this: http://video.concretepumping.com/video/442/50-meter-system |

Only if the concrete was so bad that it wouldn't go trough the 4'' . Did I see 3 men handling the hose? The men in bleu handle the 4'' with one man and a big smile. |

CAROLINA FLOORS ARE PROBALLY THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN POUR CONCRETE, KABOOM----YOU GOT THAT RIGHT, YOU CAN'T PUMP IT FAST ENOUGH FOR THESE GUYS-----A HOSE HOG SALESMAN WENT OUT TO ONE OF CAROLINAS POURS TO TRY TO SELL THEM THERE PRODUCT---THEY SAW HOW CAROLINA DRAGS HOSE, AND HE PACKED HIS SHIT UP AND SAID THERES NO WAY I CAN COMPETE WITH THAT--THESE GUYS ARE UNREAL----THE REASONING BEHIND THE 5" SYSTEM, IS THAT LIGHTWEIGHT UP HERE IN THE MOUNTAINS WILL NOT GO THROUGH 4", ALTHOUGH I CAN PUMP LIGHTWEIGHT THROUGH 3" IN ASHEVILLE. ITS ALL ABOUT THE MATERIAL. |

They are probably the best crew to do floor , but who thanks them when they have wornout bodies ?
Or pay their medicalbill....
"Thank You for You pull the 5" buy hand , so We dont had to buy some hosehogs or distrubutors !" more $ in the owners pocket.... |

Yea.. If they HAVE to use the 5'' its quite impressive they manage. Thats HEAVY. Respect... |

pumpjockey | 06-26-2010 | reply profile send pm notify |
But it's LIGHTWEIGHT concrete, it's LIGHT. You almost have to stand on the hose to keep it from floating away. lol |
||
SUPERDOFFER | 06-26-2010 | reply profile send pm notify |
But than again I think they handel it wel that 5" beast whitout making themself cripple. I think whit a little training they can compete whit the loos and gilling boy's. don't you think Dipstick |

If you get the guys to work in unison, It's not nearly as tough to move. And if you can time a 'pull' with the pump surge, more often than not, you'll pull it too far. |
