We need some pictures of operators with their family after work. Please be in gear. Hard hat and so on.

What is the purpose of these pictures? Just saying that they'll be used in print work is pretty vague. If for commercial purposes, folks should be compensated. In any event, people should always have the last say as to how their image is used. IOW, will any op that sends a picture be able to see the finished product prior to anyone publishing it? Just askin'. 

The pictures will be used in our safety presentations and marketing materials for ACPA – maybe even our WOC video and workforce development brochures but I can’t say specifically what media. The idea is to connect the human aspect in preventing accidents rather than just about saving money. As an example I saw a billboard on the freeway that shows a little girl and boy wearing hardhats in a construction zone that says “slow down, my mommy’s at work”. Definitely caught by eye and made me slow down!

There will be NO monetary compensation and persons submitting pictures agree they will be used as stated above. If I wanted to pay for pictures, we’d hire professional models but I’d much rather use our own operator’s and their kids.

We’ve received several pictures so far and most people like the idea of their kids and/or family getting a little publicity. Pretty simple.

because she posted a thing on the acpa Facebook page asking the same exact thing a few weeks ago with HER email

Fair enough and thanks for the explanation. The original request here was just too vague. I have a real problem with "for profit" enterprise asking for volunteer labor in furtherance of the business. 

I get the picture. Like ''your family wants you to come home tonight'' Is it to late to send in any pics? I'll try to take some tomorrow   Would be funn. Is it OK with Putzmeister helmet or should it be neutral ?
