I know the ol boy that was here before me had a Pump-It and a Pumpstar among others. I got a cylinder off a Pumpstar main section sitting here too.
Anybody know if I can still get this style of cup and dogbone? Looking at them, I think this style would be the easiest to convert my Cifa to. |

I think it belongs in this pump.
We used to spot weld the treaded connecter to the mudcup so it could not turn off when pumping.
(This pic is from the early 90s so don't worry about the double end hose.) |

your right tank they are out of 800 or 801. you would tack weld them onto the cup and use hose clamp to hold the coupling together. the only good thing when they fell of a 4x4 on the rear of the redi mix truck and push the cup back up ah the good old days. If you lost elec the unit just started to pump all by it self. Now they have to put e-stops every 4 feet. bolt grates down put covers on everything. they must of been pre osha lol |

I can't find the pics from the fire. I do miss that old pump some days. I remember that old gate valve shattering the windshield out of a front discharge mixer. ( I think the mixer driver sh*t his pants ) I was on 2ed deck, after the 2ed or 3rd stroke of sucking air I turned the pump up against the next stroke she blow concrete so far in the air I was able to catch a few stone. The next thing I know the driver is cursing and swearing at me telling me how I 'm going to have to pay for his window.

I can only remember losing a mudcup 1 time, 10 yards into a 55 yard block full. I finished the pour on 1 cylinder. It's funny now, I can tell you exactly where the job was and who we were pumping for. Yea good ole days |

Those to me look a set of schwing rams . Schwing rams at the time had a problem with the coupling backing out . So you welded the coupling to the spacer and the spacer to the ram . |
