hi ive been pumpin dumpin and pourin concrete for 22 years i am a concrete labor .about a month ago,to make a long story short this is a little more complicatedthan you think.im going to need to explain the whole story a little bit later. for now this is basically what happened.we were tryin to suck a ball back from a stand line 17th floor, thrust block on third floor balcany, thats where the pump hooked up.sucking back this whole job never went well, this day though,we had to disconnect to to see if there was a clog,we have a little knife valve the kind you open and close with a sledge, very generic for a major job, after we shut it ,we disconnect the boom then drop to the ground and kink him,12 foot 5 inch rubber ,well everything looked alright, but when we raised him back up the hose went wild so loud so fast almost thrown off building luckily just hit on the ankle almost had it tore off, what do you think ,please let me know what you think

It is not possible to even guess with the lack of specific information given. If you would care to talk about it you may call. If you were more specific in your post then perhaps someone could help you here. ;~)

sounds to me like they were sucking a sponge that would not come back so the so the boom was full of conpressed air when they threw the valve and tied the hose off and when they let the boom down the concrete slid down the boon and now the compressed air is behind they compressed air WHICH GETS TO ONE OF THE BIG SAFTY RULES CLEAR THE AREA BEFORE OPENING THE HOSE AND BEFORE YOU START PUMPING AND I DONT THINK THAT SHOULD BE GETTING DONE ON THE SIDE OF THE 17th FLOOR but thats just my opinon
