Wireless Less???

Wireless remote quit on me. It was raining pretty heavy so I'm hoping it just needs dried out? Had to drag out the hard wire which means black & white and W.F.O!!! (full volume) on a Concord, I dont know which is worse? The only thing you can do to mellow things out is to pump in 6th or even 5th gear, otherwise you'll be fly fish'n and boom whipp'n all day?  The biggest black & white boom I've ran is a 36m and I would have liked to have kept it that way, 48meters of black & white aint no fun!

Just when you think you got this stuff figured out... Here comes the curve ball!  It sure made me appriciate my proportional wireless remote. I figured out just how bad I am without it, LOOK OUT!

Too Tall-  I had that happen once when I accedently hit it with my water hose when I was washing out.  I just opened the remote up and sprayed it out with canned air like you would use on your computer ( no water in it) and let it sit over night... It worked great in the morning

So with the cable remote on a Concord, you have no proportional boom control and no way to adjust the strokes?

Not with the 2000 year model

I like my year 2000 S. Wired proportional with adjustable stroke, never would have thought others did it any different.

I dropped a nextell im my hopper once and someone told me to put it in a bag of rice.  I tried everything else but thats the only thing that worked.  I guess if nothing else works just go get a really big bag of rice.

ALL better! A couple hours on the dash with the defroster blasting dried it out.

The problem with adjusting the volume on the brain is having to return it EXACTLY to the same position. When you re connect the wire less remote the spectrum of the volume control will go haywire if the manual control is'nt set in the EXACT position is was before.

I've never heard the rice trick before, Does it work on everything or only Alliance, KCP, Sany etc.? (Ha,ha...)
