BPA 500 AND WP 1000 X PASS CPMA AUDIT 2005
Schwing America is proud to announce that two of its line pumps have passed an audit by the Concrete Pump Manufacturers Association (CPMA). These are the first line pumps to pass the audit which assures the pumps are in compliance with the safety standards developed by the Association. CPMA is comprised of manufacturers of concrete pumping equipment.
“Safety has always been a paramount issue with Schwing and this achievement verifies that our pump design and markings are state-of-the-art,” stated Jon Bammann, general manager of Schwing’s line pump division, located in Gresham, Georgia.
The audit covered: proper safety markings and decals; correct number and placement of emergency stops; proper placement and number of guards; a compliant pump pressure release system; and the content of operating and maintenance manuals.
The two models audited are similar in design to numerous line pumps in the Schwing catalog. The company manufactures more than a dozen line pump models from 25yds/hour output up to 95 yards per hour. Three valve types are available depending on the application. For more information on Schwing line pumps, contact: Schwing America, Line Pump Division, 1300 Gresham Road Marietta, GA 30062.
