Concrete Pump Repair Expands Again 2008

After an extensive expansion in 2004 that added a new office building, Concrete Pump Repair (CPR) is growing again at its North Branch, Minnesota location. The new construction will add another paint booth with state of the art equipment. The space devoted to refurbishing concrete pumps now totals 31,800 square feet made up of offices, parts storage, service center, two existing paint booths and seven repair/remanufacturing bays. CPR’s seven acre site is 30 miles north of Minneapolis, St. Paul.

The new booth for prep and paint measures 120-feet long. “Surface prep and paint has been something we pride ourselves on and adding this new facility will enable us to increase output,” stated Jerry Anderson, CPR General Manager. Paint is the final process in a CPR remanufactured concrete pump. All pumps receive a boom inspection and trucks are DOT inspected. Other services may include a new pumpkit, retrucking, rewiring or simply component replacement. Some CPR pumps are available with new pump warranties.

CPR pumps are marketed at www.concretepumps.com. Subscription to the company’s online e-lert program is free and provides customers with e-mail updates on the latest concrete pumps to arrive at CPR and a quarterly online e-newsletter. Their site organizes pumps by boom length and also includes a Classifieds section available to other owners who want to sell their pumps. CPR also maintains an extensive inventory of spare parts for new and older Schwing concrete pumps.

CPR can also provide on-site services to customers. Depending on the level of repair or inspection required, a CPR Certified Boom Inspector and/or Service Technician can fly or drive to a customer’s location. The company utilizes a fully-equipped service truck that can be driven to a site if it is necessary to execute a repair.
