Responding to the market’s perception of the previously named S 31 HT, Schwing has renamed their unique concrete pump with telescopic boom the S 31 EZ. The name change was prompted by customer’s referring to the machine as the “extendable Z.”

The S 31 Extendable Z with patented Auto Scissors pipeline is the concrete pump that really is two machines in one. In low overhead situations the boom needs only 18’-9” unfolding clearance to provide 87 feet of horizontal reach and pinpoint accuracy. With four-section boom and 15’-2” of telescopic action, the S 31 EZ covers an additional 3700 square feet on everything from walls to footings to flatwork. The Auto Scissors pipeline allows the operator to keep the boom safely in the operational zone. There is no need to adjust multiple boom sections or rely on boom position sensors to keep the hose out of the pour.

Backing up the S 31 EZ’s smooth boom control is the Generation III pump kit with up to 170 cubic yards per hour output.
