New Schwing-Stetter Mixer Sales Reps Announced 2008
Schwing has appointed Adam Wallace and Eric Thompson to the positions of sales representative with the company’s Stetter truck mixer division.
Both men are recent graduates of Middle Tennessee University (MTSU) with Bachelor of Science Degrees in Concrete Industry Management (CIM). This degree program was the first of its kind in the United States. It is a joint initiative between MTSU and leaders in the concrete industry. “Schwing has been a long-time supporter of the MTSU program, so we are particularly pleased with the opportunity to hire Adam and Eric because of the great education they received, their high academic achievement and solid work ethic,” stated Brian Hazelton, Schwing America’s vice-president of sales and marketing.
Wallace has previous experience with Basalite Concrete Products located in Dixon, California. He will be working out of the Schwing branch in Livermore, CA.
Thompson will work from the company’s Atlanta branch. He previously was in sales for BASF/Master Builders Admixtures, Inc.
Both men will be representing the company’s line of conventional and booster equipped truck mixers that enjoy improved stability through lower center of gravity. A recently introduced SMART Drum option has been well-received by the ready-mix industry because of the lower wear and increased stability provided by the system.
Adam Wallace can be reached by cell phone or by e-mail awallace@schwing.com.
Eric Thompson’s e-mail address is ethompson@schwing.com.
