WORK HISTORY:
Putzmeister America (12/05 -10/08). Employed as Field Service Technician. Duties include Traveling to customer locations in the U.S. and abroad conducting in service training, inspection, and adjustment on new and refurbished Concrete Pumping equipment. This included but was not limited to Safe operation, Proper usage, proper maintenance, electrical and hydraulic schematic usage, troubleshooting of problems, adjustment of hydraulic and electronic components, proper priming and cleanout procedures, training on new systems, stationary placing boom installation and operation, and operator and mechanic training as well as telephone support for the customers. Duties also included conducting inspections and certifying Putzmeister booms as well as on site troubleshooting and repair of Putzmeister equipment.

Brunswick Container Corporation. South Hill, Va. (4/94-11/96). Employed as a Blow Mold Operator from 3/94-6/94. Duties included operating blow molding machines in the manufacturing of plastic soda bottles for Pepsi Cola Corporation, and for other privately labeled brand’s, conducting quality control checks, visually inspecting the bottles, maintaining a clean work environment, conducting daily and weekly preventative maintenance of the equipment, repairing any mechanical and electrical faults, changing out mold sizes to manufacture different sized bottles, and assisting with the installation of new machinery. Employed as a Line Maintainer from 6/94-8/94, Duties included electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair of all production equipment, Preventative maintenance on all production equipment, running plant air, high pressure air, and chilled water piping to the machinery, installation of new machinery, maintenance of propane powered forklifts, maintenance of low and high pressure air compressors, and fabrication of various parts for projects. Employed as A General Maintenance Technician from 8/94-11/94. Duties included all of the above as well as learning to program programmable logic controllers, and more in-depth work on the air compressors, including rebuilding the high and low pressure heads and replacing and rebuilding the piston rings and valves. Ballenger Paving Corporation, Fort Pickett, Blackstone, Va. (9/93-12/93). Employed as a Truck Driver/Grease Truck Operator. Duties included fueling various equipment, maintaining a record of fuel used, greasing the equipment, ensuring that all fluids were full so the equipment would be ready to operate the next day, filling the truck’s tanks with diesel fuel, motor oil, hydraulic oil, grease, and gear oil. Duties also included performing oil changes, lube jobs, and repairs to the equipment when it broke down.

Duties included operating, navigating, and maintaining the operational readiness of the units small boats, law enforcement boarding’s, Blue Lightning” operations conducted in the Gulf of Mexico, and standing radio and security watches at the unit. I was also qualified on various weapons including the Colt .45, Beretta 9mm, 12-gauge riot shotgun, M60 and M16 machine guns.
U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Alert (WMEC 630), Cape May, N.J. (11/86-4/89). Employed as a Seaman Apprentice/Seaman. Duties included painting, general maintenance, ordering of supplies, standing security watches, steering the ship, standing lookout watches to locate vessels and navigational hazards in the area, member of the law enforcement boarding team, gun crew, and flight deck tie down team.
