Schwing Adds Director of Product Remarketing 2007

In order to more efficiently coordinate the sale of used equipment, Schwing has announced Jim Graham as Director, Product Remarketing. Graham , a graduate of the University of Illinois with a mechanical engineering degree, previously served as the Southeast Regional Manager for the company. In his new position Jim will work with the Schwing sales force, dealers and customers to be a single contact point concerning used equipment sales opportunities.

“This will give our customers more opportunities for trade-ins and allow an efficient flow of quality used equipment to secondary markets, “according to Brian Hazelton, Schwing Vice-President of Sales and Marketing, “Jim has the experience and contacts within the concrete pumping industry to facilitate the movement of used equipment from seller to buyer.” In addition to marketing through global channels with the Schwing Group, Graham will also coordinate with Concrete Pump Repair (CPR), Wyoming, MN, a refurbisher and sales outlet for used Schwing equipment that markets on-line at www.concretepumps.com.

All trade-ins on Schwing equipment, regardless of brand, are boom and DOT inspected. Some used equipment from CPR is available with a warranty if it is remanufactured and/or retrucked. “We will be assisting our core customers with their steady volume of trades and also the new customer who may not be able to find a willing trading partner with other manufacturers,” Graham explained.
