SCHWING AMERICA EXTENDS PUMPING SEASON WITH 5-TON LEGAL BOOM PUMPS 2003
Schwing America, Inc., leading manufacturer of concrete pumping equipment, recently extended the pumping season for concrete contractors in Minnesota. The new Schwing-engineered 6-axle design allows boom pump operators to drive on roads and highways with 5-ton weight restrictions when spring frost laws are enforced. This new engineering is available on the conventional truck-mounted KVM 32 XL, KVM 32 XG and KVM 34 X. Patent documentation is in progress for the tag axle design.
With a hydraulically operated booster axle for equal weight distribution, Schwing provides relevant technology to pump owners who face spring road restrictions. The axles can be adjusted according to limitations set on state and local levels. Controls mounted outside the cab allow the operator to adjust the booster axles ground pressure. The axles fully retract when not needed to avoid curbs and job site obstructions. For added convenience, the rear booster can be removed when the frost laws are not enforced. Each booster axle is equipped with fenders.
The Schwing 32-meter and 34-meter concrete boom pumps are also equipped with 4-section Roll & Fold“ placing booms, fully proportional controls, all hydraulic operating systems, and Schwing’s exclusive Rock Valve‘, offering the lowest cost per yard in operation. Available pump kits provide high output and high-pressure capabilities for all of your pumping needs.
