SCHWING AND CONSTRUCTION FORMS \INTRODUCE NEW PRECAST PLACING SYSTEM 2003

Schwing America, Inc., White Bear, MN, in conjunction with Construction Forms, Port Washington, WI, recently introduced the Schwing-CF Precast Placing System. The new customized, pump based system with a self-propelled placer walks down the casting bed floor to continuously and precisely dispense concrete into double-tees, wall panels, and various forms.

The new placer offers several features that will fit any precast facility’s requirements. Available with 32’ or 40’ boom, a versatile two-stage boom or three-stage with jib section raises and lowers for variable form heights. The placer ensures continuous, accurate placement.

The Schwing-CF Precast Placer is an economical addition to small, medium or large precast plants. The pump is fed directly from the plant mixer with diversion valves providing hassle-free delivery with a single piece of equipment and freeing cranes and forklifts for other uses. Using the placer versus conventional bucket methods means cleaner operation and lower maintenance costs. Single-operator controls for the pump and placing boom with wireless remote provide labor saving capabilities.
