SCHWING ANNOUNCES NEW HYDRAULIC BALL VALVE LINE PUMP 2000
Schwing America has announced a new hydraulic ball valve line pump. The HBV 160 is a 45 cubic yard per hour model that employs the reliability of a hydraulic operated concrete pump with the simplicity of a dual ball valve sequencing system. This trailer-mounted model pumps grout and concrete as well as shotcrete. Material cylinders measure 20"x6" for excellent cylinder filling even with low slump mixes. The Schwing design employs a spring controlled accumulator to smooth concrete output and reduce hose surge in shotcrete applications. This simple mechanism reduces maintenance while outperforming similar pumps that utilize gas-charged accumulators. The HBV 160 is powered by a 66hp Deutz diesel. The trailer…s chassis employs torsion spring suspension and is equipped with electric brakes.
It joins the broad line of all-hydraulic and mechanical ball valve line pumps available from Schwing.
