Schwing Switches to Dupont Imron 5000 Paint 2006

“Schwing pumps and mixer trucks are billboards for our customers and we want them to have the best image possible, “explains Mark Moschau, Schwing’s paint manager,” In order to bring a new benchmark to quality and appearance, we have switched to the Dupont Imron 5000 Paint System.” The Imron finish incorporates the most advanced ultra-violet screeners and light stabilizers to prevent fading. It also stands up to weather and chemicals without loosing its brilliance.

Schwing customers can also choose from a variety of graphic treatments from the company’s in-house department. High gloss vinyls stand-up to the toughest conditions and provide a custom painted appearance.

The new Dupont finishes will be applied in Schwing’s state-of-the-art paint department housed in the gigantic paint and prep building that is a landmark for visitors to the Schwing plant. Three paint booths are kept busy, including the largest booth in the Midwest at 215-feet.
