SCHWING TAMPA HOSTS SAFETY SEMINAR AND OPEN HOUSE 2003

On May 17th, 2003 Schwing representatives at the Tampa, Florida facility opened their doors to owners and operators of pumping equipment for the 2003 Safety Seminar and Open House. Guests remained on plant grounds for a day of safety seminars, pump demonstrations, tours, food and games. Seminars for operators began in the morning. Topics included preparation and transport to the job site, pump set up, hazards on the job, cleaning and maintenance, and attitude and coworker safety. ACPA operator certification was also made available to attendees.

In the afternoon, owners and operators were treated to demonstrations of the latest boom pumps, trailer pumps and truck mounted line pumps from Schwing America, Inc. Guests were guided through Schwing’s state-of-the-art parts and service facility for trailer pumps and boom pumps. Attendees were served lunch and participated in door prize raffles.
