Schwing Welcomes New Regional Manager 2006

Schwing America, Inc, global manufacturer of concrete construction equipment and member of the Schwing Group has announced the hiring of Barry Morgan as Regional Manager. In his new position, Morgan will be responsible for sales of the company’s broad line of truck-mounted and trailer-mounted concrete pumps, separate placing booms, truck mixers and ready-mix reclaimers in Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, North and South Carolina and the Panhandle of Florida.

Prior to joining Schwing, Barry worked for Esser Twin Pipes as their General Manager. In this capacity he supplied pipeline systems for truck-mounted concrete pumps for OEM’s and end users for over 11 years. While with Esser, Barry served for 5 years on the ACPA Board of Directors, most recently as Nomination and Election Committee Chair.

“Barry has developed a thorough understanding of concrete pump customers and their needs and we feel very fortunate he is joining the Schwing team,” said Brian Hazelton, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Barry received his Design Degree from the Ayres State Technical College and lives with his wife Stephanie and their youngest son, Drew (6) in Helena, Alabama, while his two older children Jason and Brooke are grown and gone.
