Ulisse, Nick
Nick Ulisse was born in Lanciano, Italy on December 25, 1922. He was a leader and pioneer in the concrete finishing/concrete pumping industry for 40 years. He started a concrete finishing company in Richmond, VA in the late 50’s and then bought concrete pumps in the 60’s and 70’s and called it Ulisse Concrete Construction. He sold it in 1994 to Grap Equipment, Inc. He was a well respected man by many in the construction industry. Sadly, he passed away December 23, 2008.
